Raised in NYC, Robin has always had a love of the beach and flair for fashion and styling. Opening up a eco-fashion & lifestyle boutique has been her goal ever since attending Parsons The New School of Design in NYC for Sustainable Fashion. It was therefore no surprise when she decided to leave the city and head south to open up Mermaids & Sailors in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. She is an avid barre and pilates practitioner and has completed her training in barre through Multi Style Yoga International and pilates at Pilates Nosara at The Bodhi Tree. Her high energy, and love of fitness will be sure to get you up and moving!
Studio Manager | Yoga Teacher | Barre Instructor
Marcela has been a disciplined Yoga student since 1995, when she developed her personal home practice studying with books, videos and the occasional passerby instructor in the small beach town where she lives. Feeling the void of a light-hearted yoga teacher in her life, she got certified in 2009 guided by the knowledge of internationally respected Noah Mazé, Sianna Sherman, Kenny Graham and others who continue to inspire her practice and teachings.
Her creative and coherent sequences have the right balance between personal freedom and thoughtful, responsible alignment with emphasis on breathing and attention to muscular integration. Her playful classes are in fluent English/Spanish.
She’s a contagious optimistic who loves nature, music, animals, the little surprises of life and sharing the transformational science of yoga, which for her it’s essentially the way to a peaceful and joyous life journey.

After dabbling in yoga for years, Chelsea found herself taking downward facing dog more frequently during law school as a way to relax her mind and relieve tension in her body. She earned her 200-RYT at The Studio DC in Washington, D.C. and taught around the city until a “short” vacation inspired her indefinite beach relocation. Through simple sequences and reflective meditations, Chelsea crafts playful yet down-to-earth flows. She is a big fan of yoga props, funky jams, and sun salutations, blending deep breath and alignment to help her students cultivate a rich personal practice.

Virginia went to her first yoga class in high school at her local YMCA in Dubuque, Iowa and fell asleep during Savasana. Ever since she has used yoga to supplement her other sports: swimming, running, and rowing. It wasn’t until her pregnancy that forced her to hang up her running shoes and gave her the space to focus internally - mind, heart, and body as a complete whole. Yoga is always a practice, never a perfect so in her classes you’ll always find modifications for all levels. Even though we are practicing as a group, we are all on our own, individual, personal yoga journey. So whether you’ve been practicing for 50 years or today is your first yoga class, come, practice, spend time with you again, replenish your cup.

After many years of high intensity interval training (HIIT), fit boxing and PUMP, Vanessa slowed down and found her way to yoga about 12 years ago. Starting with Hatha yoga, followed by some years of daily Asthanga practice and later Jivamukti yoga, she fell in love with Shiva Rea's Vinyasa flow and was learning from her in the last two years. Due to her background every yoga class with Vanessa is different, acording to the time of the day and more important: the people showing up. Vanessa tries to help everyone to meet their body's individual needs in the yoga practice.
Jamie Lynne Rojas
Yoga Instructor |
With over 20 years of intensive study in dance and 10 years of studying yoga, Jamie has a passion for sharing the art of moving the body in freeing, strong, safe way. She believes in LIVING yoga, not just doing the posture. -"who are we being when we walk off our mats?" After traveling to India to dive deeper into her practice she was inspired to get certified at Swastha Yoga International. Jamie’s classes focus on the synchronicity of breath and movement, movement with intention, proper safety alignment, and always bringing new information to her students.
She always considers herself a student, even as an instructor, because she believes we never stop learning and growing in this practice.
